The National Institute of Bank Management (NIBM) was established in 1969 and is a premier Institution for Research, Training and Consultancy in the Field of Banking and Finance in India . The PGPBF is one of its prestigious and successful programmes since 2002. The alumni of this programme  play  a significant role in the growth of the institute, they reflect the image of the institute in various walks of life.
